All Terrain, Mud Terrain & Touring Tyres for Every Adventure

At All Coast, 4WD tyres are what we do, every single day.

From tradie utes heading to job sites, to touring rigs towing vans north, to family SUVs that still want to hit the beach on weekends, we’ve fitted them all.

Whether you’re driving a modern AWD, a work Hilux, a lifted 79 Series or a fully kitted touring build, we’ll help you choose a tyre that suits:

  • Where you actually drive
  • What you tow or carry
  • How aggressive you want the look
  • And how long you expect them to last

No guesswork. No upselling. Just tyres that suit your real life.

Choosing the Right 4WD Tyre Can Be Tricky, We Make It Easy

Because finding the right tyre depends on where you drive, how you drive, what you carry, and the level of traction you need.
Our four stores stock a massive range of premium and budget-friendly 4WD tyres, covering:

70/30 All-Terrain Tyres

Great if your 4WD spends most of its life on bitumen but still sees dirt roads, camping trips and beach runs.
Quiet enough for daily driving. Tough enough for weekend exploring.

50/50 All-Terrain / Rugged-Terrain Tyres

The sweet spot for a lot of Coast drivers.
Touring, towing, mixed conditions, a proper balance of comfort and bite.

Mud-Terrain (M/T) Tyres

Aggressive tread, big lugs and maximum traction for mud, ruts, rock and serious off-road work.

Highway-Terrain (H/T) Tyres for 4WDs & Utes

Great for high-kilometre drivers needing comfort, safety and long life.

Modern All Terrain tyres have the toughest job of all, balancing on-road manners with strong off-road capability.

Today’s 4WD owners want a tyre that can drop the kids off at school on Monday, tackle a worksite midweek and hit the tracks or campground on the weekend.

We understand that variety, and we’ve got every solution covered.

The 4×4 Tyre Brands We Back

We don’t just stock random brands.
We carry 4WD tyres we trust, the same ones we fit to our own vehicles and recommend to customers every day.

Across our four stores, you’ll find leading 4×4 tyre brands including:

Whether you’re chasing long-distance touring reliability, aggressive mud traction or a quiet all-terrain for everyday driving, we’ve got options across premium and value ranges.

We’ll explain the differences properly, sidewall strength, tread compound, load rating, noise levels and help you pick the right brand for how you actually use your 4WD.

Because not every A/T is built the same.

The All Coast Difference, Your Safety First

Our team doesn’t just sell tyres…

We’ll walk you through the features that matter most:

Key Things We Discuss With You

  • Do you want a quiet ride on the highway?
  • Will the vehicle be towing? → You may need a Light Truck (LT) construction for strength.
  • What terrain will you be travelling? → Sand, mud, touring, rocky climbs, heavy work?
  • How aggressive should the tread be?
  • Do you need strong on-road grip for wet weather driving?
  • Are you chasing high mileage and long life?
  • Planning to increase tyre size? → We’ll help you confirm what’s legal, safe and sensible for your vehicle.

Whether you know exactly what you want or need help narrowing the options, we’ll help you choose the tyre that suits you, not just the vehicle.

TYRE TALK - Understanding UTQG Ratings

If you’ve ever looked closely at the tyre sidewall, you may have noticed extra markings. American-made tyres often include UTQG – Uniform Tyre Quality Grading, which gives extra insight into performance.

Here’s what it means:

TREADWEAR

A higher number = longer expected tyre life.

Tyres are tested over 11,520 km and graded based on wear rates.

TRACTION

Wet braking ability ranked from AA (best) down to C (lowest).

TEMPERATURE

How well a tyre handles heat.

Rated from A (best) to C, important for towing, heavy loads and high-speed driving.

Understanding UTQG helps ensure you choose a tyre that matches your driving expectations and safety needs.
